As a Product Owner at dax group, you will play a crucial role in guiding the development of client and internal software products from conception to launch and beyond! You will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and clients to ensure that the products meet the needs of the users and align with each company’s strategic objectives.
- Develop and Communicate Product Vision: Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap to all relevant stakeholders and team members.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to identify and understand their needs, translating these into product requirements.
- Product Backlog Management: Create and prioritise a product backlog, ensuring the team focuses on the highest value features.
- User Stories and Acceptance Criteria: Define user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring they are clearly understood by the development team.
- Development Process Involvement: Collaborate with the development team throughout the product development process, providing clarification and direction as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Review and accept completed work, ensuring it meets the defined acceptance criteria and overall quality standards.
- Performance Measurement: Measure and report on product performance and progress towards strategic goals.
- Feedback Gathering: Continuously gather feedback from users and stakeholders to inform future product decisions.
- Scheduling Releases: Together with the solutions development and stakeholder teams plan and roadmap releases for all environments.
- Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that may affect the team’s ability to meet project objectives.
- Ensure Customer Success: Utilise and manage customer success frameworks and tools to successfully deliver results for dax group and dax group clients.
Person specification
Knowledge & Qualifications
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Business or other relevant qualification.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, PMP & Kanban
Skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Attention to detail and quality orientation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with product management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello, etc.)
Experience
- Participation in successful group projects at University or College
- Hackathon participation
- Useful but not mandatory: 1 year placement in similar business/analysis position.
